Questionable Comments

Hi, Everyone-
Great concert last night!!! Journeys was amazing — you should all be so proud of yourself!
I wanted to address the fact that I just noticed a BUNCH of spam comments on here (with questionable content… well, really, there’s no question about it… it is not appropriate). It is bot spam (automated spam/advertisements) and I am in the process of cleaning them out.
I have set the blog so comments must be approved by the moderator (me)… I’ll eventually be able to relax this, but for now it is better to do it this way. Go ahead and post/comment and know I’ll approve your posts soon!

hi im axl
Hey, a new place to post Orlando news!
Posted by Aunty Dawn on February 14th, 2008 filed in Instrumental Music - GeneralComment now »
Since I’ve had little or no luck getting people to add me as a friend at MySpace or Facebook (and I haven’t had enough time to pick apart the functions I really want/need, anyways)… let’s see if this will get the word out better!
I still have gifts for those who added me… And for those who fill out the surveys at the upcoming Orlando meeting, we’ll be doing raffle drawings! Yes, real prizes! But I need REAL answers from you guys. The meeting will be the week of Feb 18th sometime. (It depends on my work schedule. Sorry.)
Rules for Orlando are simple and can be summed up in a single word: RESPECT
You respect the rules, we respect your maturity and good sense, we all respect each other, each other’s property and the rights and experiences of the guests around us, and we will all have a wonderful, memorable trip.
Anyone who fails to show common courtesy and respect for others (Saxons, parents, other guests or Disney-ites)… well, let’s just say I hope that whatever it was they did was worth the intense supervision they will experience for the rest of the trip. These excursions are only for those who live up to the true meaning of RESPECT for all, and pride in being Saxons.
I am certain this will be a positive experience for everyone. I’m counting on it!
Any questions? Call me at (213) 743-5267 – work, or email me.
More to come…
Aunty Dawn

Hey!
So, it has been a long time since anyone did anything here. I’m excited because our sample uniform is supposed to arrive tomorrow via UPS!! It will be so cool to see what it will look like for real!!
Maybe you also noticed I redesigned the main page on saxonregiment.org.
Anyway… We’ll be done with recording next week, and we’re about to start working on new music in Band and have already started a new song in Orchestra, and there will be a rehearsal schedule VERY SOON for the musical orchestra/band AND for the Orlando students!
That’s it for now! The excitement is starting soon!

Jam Session….
Posted by Happy on December 22nd, 2006 filed in Instrumental Music - GeneralComment now »
Mr. Cooke –
Is it ok if a couple of my buddies and I use the brass room at lunch time to have a jam session?
I’m learning to play electric guitar and some of my friends volunteered to help me along.
It would be greatly appreciated if you would let us use it at lunch time!
Thanks,
Happy.
